Two lines and a lot of buses
The Red and Blue CTrain lines cross downtown along 7th Avenue, where riding between stations in the free fare zone costs nothing. Buses fill in the rest; plan trips on Calgary Transit’s site.
Indoors, sixteen feet up
Downtown’s +15 network links office towers and malls with enclosed skywalks about fifteen feet above the street. In January it is the best way to cross the core.
Save on passes
Monthly passes beat single fares for daily riders, and the Low Income Monthly Pass is priced on a sliding scale. Calgary Transit Access provides shared door-to-door rides for people who cannot use regular service.
